My story is that of a young mother who arrived in Paris from Mauritius in 2015, leaving behind an effective support environment.
How I would have loved to find someone who really knew me, who would have understood me, supported me, and who would have allowed me to focus on my child and my career as a Chartered Company Secretary.
But no! Living the great Parisian Dream also means having to overcome its frenetic pace, confronting reality, reconciling work, family, personal development and social life.
How to stop being overworked? We cannot do everything ourselves, we have to delegate! Who can we turn to? What is this mental load? It is very important for me to be able to answer these questions in concrete terms, to say things.
At the heart of this idea of entrepreneurship there is this awareness, a journey, and this is what I want to tell you about:
Like you, I naturally turned to personal services. If there were positive points, I was bothered by the randomness, the unknown of the more or less resourceful worker, and I discovered a a new mental burden: constantly repeating how the work should be done, monitoring, correcting what is poorly done.
The solution to the issue was obvious: a tailor-made agency for locals or expatriates that reflects the benefits of each and every one of them, with a unique identity, Merci Sixtine, and their collaborator in the image of my concept, a Sixtine.
Adopting it, is what I wanted for myself:
To trust. Not every person can enter your home. Your Sixtine will know you and, in your absence, she will know what to do and how to do it, and you don't have to keep on explaining. This work is planned beforehand, together, in a contractual way.
Being protected. Are you aware of the considerable risks of undeclared work?
In the event of an accident, the administrative institutions will turn against you for not protecting the illegally employed person and not respecting social rights.
Everything is simplified. You don't have to do anything. The contract is made between you and Merci Sixtine who takes care of the training and the follow-up of your Sixtine, the administrative steps, the social contributions, the insurance, the pay slip...
